Who we are

At Cameron Theodore we specialise in furniture making, as well as the restoration and conservation of decorative services and allied crafts. Established in 1998, we are based between the historic market towns of Guildford (Surrey) & Petworth (West Sussex). We work for multiple clients, interior designers, dealers & collectors alike, specialising in period furniture, cabinet making and hand finishing.

We are accredited members of BAFRA (The British Antique Furniture Restorers’ Association). It’s a national organisation of craftsmen and women engaged in furniture conservation and restoration. Founded in 1979 to safeguard the interests of owners and buyers of antique furniture.

Meet the Team

  • Jason Moore

    Founder

Jason is the master craftsman behind it all – a furniture maker, restorer and conservator with over 30 years of experience and a serious eye for detail. Whether he's bringing a Georgian chair back to life or creating a one-of-a-kind dining table, his hands are always busy and his standards never drop. A true expert with a deep respect for traditional techniques, Jason’s the reason our furniture lasts for generations. He’s also the dad of the team – full of wisdom and the occasional grumble when someone misplaces his ruler!

  • Ginny Moore

    Company Director

Ginny is our Company Director and the organisational powerhouse behind the scenes. She keeps the books balanced, the schedules running smoothly and the whole operation ticking quietly in the background. From accounts to admin, nothing escapes her meticulous eye – and thank goodness, because someone has to keep us in line. While you might not meet her face-to-face, her calm efficiency is behind every beautifully delivered piece that leaves the workshop. If it’s filed, paid, scheduled or solved, chances are Ginny’s already done it – twice.

  • Cameron Moore

    Cabinet Maker

Cameron is our cabinet maker, bringing a fresh eye and a steady hand to the workshop. Over the past few years, he’s taken the lead on crafting our bespoke furniture – combining traditional joinery with new design to create pieces that are both functional and beautifully made. Whether it’s a made-to-measure cabinet or a one-off commission, Cameron approaches each piece with care and precision. He’s a key part of the team shaping the future of the workshop, one joint at a time.

  • Ken Sim

    Restorer & French Polisher

Ken is our skilled restorer and French polisher, with nearly 40 years of experience and a deep understanding of traditional finishing techniques. He’s worked for us for many years, helping to create and restore exceptional pieces for clients across the globe – from private collectors to heritage institutions. Known for his steady hand and meticulous eye, Ken brings care, consistency and craftsmanship to every stage of the process. His quiet expertise plays a vital role in ensuring each piece leaves the workshop looking its absolute best.
